How to Arrange Your Icons Neatly on the Desktop-Tip of the Day

Want to align your desktop shortcuts in a neat and orderly fashion? Try the following:

Right-click (click on the right mouse button) somewhere on your desktop, but away from your icons.

Place your mouse arrow over "Arrange Icons By" in the menu that appears.

Left click on Auto Arrange in the menu that appears.

Now watch your icons magically arrange themselves neatly in columns and rows!

(Note: If you don't care for this arrangement, follow the above instructions again. Clicking on Auto Arrange this second time will allow you to move the icons anywhere you like!)
